LUX IMAGE AGENCY: bridal make up: (A+) Jena Perry does air brush and conventional. Although I opted for conventional makeup, my MOH's both did airbrush. She did an amazing job, and I'd definitely use her all over again! I hired two MAC artists for the rest of my maids, and I have to say, Jena's work was significantly better. =o) She owns her own studio in Los Gatos and she does charge a travel fee, which was well worth it in my opinion! My best friend was in another wedding recently, and she convinced the bride to hire Jena Perry to do both hers and that bride's makeup because she liked her makeup at my wedding so much! LOL

Great Group of People to make you Goregous!

After a bad make up trial somewhere else, I booked with Jena for hair & makeup for my wedding in Los Gatos. Jena was nothing if not fun, sweet, professional and genuinely interested in what I needed and how to make me look great! I ended up with 2 of her stylists, Tallie for my hair & Kelly for my make up. Tallie is just the coolest, I even made an appointment for her to do my cut & colour a week before the wedding. On the day of, she did my hair once, and it wasn't quite right, so she took it all down and did it again and it was perfect! Kelly was a last minute replacement for someone else. We did a trial about 2 weeks before my day and I could not believe how perfect my make up looked! Flawless, shimmery and exactly right for me & my dress, just enough and not too much. And it was even better the day of, so totally perfect. I think I may become addicted to individual false eyelashes. Amazing.

Jena, Michelle and Letty-  

Thank you so much for your amazing work at my wedding two weekends ago.  I have never seen my bridesmaids look so beautiful and I didn't look so bad myself (haha).  I really appreciated your skill and talent and especially your professionalism during the whole process.  Not once did I worry about how I would look (hard to imagine) after the trial, and especially after seeing my bridesmaids transformed while I waited my turn, I knew the results would be extraordinary.  

Michelle-

My makeup stayed on all night and the colors and texture looked great both out in the sun for the ceremony and indoors at night for the reception.  (Thanks for getting me to stick with my original choice of lashes!)  I appreciate you having gone through that super-long trial to get all of the colors right because on the day you hit it perfectly!  And great job with my mom, who was very happy with your work.

Letty-

I loved the updo you created and it turned out looking fantastic for both the wedding gown and the Thai traditional wedding dress.  With the Thai dress, especially, the look was very elegant and almost regal, which is exactly what you need with that type of dress.  I wish I could recreate it myself for everyday life, but I don't think I'm that talented!         

Jena-

You run a great business and I appreciate your professionalism from the start and during the whole process.  You were always prompt, friendly and courteous and I never felt taken for a ride as you do with all wedding vendors.  Your stylists' work is absolutely amazing and I would recommend them and your agency to anyone.  The cost of Lux's services are worth it, at least with Michelle and Letty, who were on-time (early, actually!), everyone felt comfortable with, able to work with a variety of ethnicities and skin/hair-types, fast but not sloppy, easygoing, and of course very talented.  

Thanks again to all of you - I hope that I've been able to express my satisfaction with not only your services, but working with you.  I have some pictures from friends that I'll forward on to you and will send copies of any good professional photos later in the summer.
