Airtan Two Stage Process:

• The bronzer that you see immediately is the temporary bronzing color. It gives the instant gratification tan.
• The bronzing color coverage shows how even the tan will be.
• The tan will develop within a few hours into a tan that is unique to each person.
• Washing: When you shower after 5 hours the temporary color will come off but the tan will remain.
• The tanner continues to develop slightly over the next 24 hours and lasts 7 or more days depending on hydration, exfoliation and natural sweating, which varies from person to person.

Getting ready to airbrush-Airtan:

• Cleansing: Make sure areas are clean, free of oil and moisturizer and the skin is dry. Exfoliating is optional.
• Shaving: Shave the night before.
• Deodorant: Do not use deodorant or perfume prior to air tanning
• Waxing: Do not tan within 4 days after waxing. Wax residue will block tanner absorption.
• Careful time: Wait 5 Hours after applying airtan to swim, shower, wash or take part in vigorous exercise. 5 hours is best for the tanning process to complete.
• Remember each coverage of Airtan will make the color darker.
  

Tips for Improved Tanning Results

• Recommended ph balanced cleansing lotions instead of soap.
• Try to avoid shampooing, especially with conditioners.
• Soap, which is (typically) alkaline, can neutralize the skin’s natural acidity.
• Shampoo, is often alkaline. Where it incidentally touches the face or body can reduce skin ph and effect tanning.
• Acidity of the skin is natural, and serves as a protective function for the skin.
• Soap can neutralize the skin’s ph, which can take 3 to 4 hours to be restored.
• Moisturizers block absorption, but high ph actually effects the reaction.
• High ph can result in light tans, poor longevity or even oranging.
• The best results come from normal acid ph skin or 4.5 to 5.5 ph

Airbrush Tanning
Airbrush Tanning is a streak free, natural looking golden tan. It looks and fades like a real tan without exposing yourself to hours of damaging UV rays. The final effect will last up to 7 days as the skin naturally exfoliates. Airbrush tanning is done by hand which allows for a more precise application. Rid yourself of unwanted tan lines, spot tan (legs, face etc..), or enjoy a full body natural looking tan.
